Changed fuel filters this weekend

Things went pretty easily. Turns out the socket for the lower filter is the same size as the axle nut on my Porsche so I already had a socket that fit it. It's the first time I have changed them since I got the truck 10k miles ago. Like I said changing the filters was no big deal but when I fired it up it ran for about 2 minutes and then seemed to run out of fuel. To make a long story short, changing the filters tripped the emergency fuel shut off relay. Anybody have any idea why that would be? Where are the sensors located for this relay? I just stuck a socket on an spun the cap off, no drama, no beating on anything. I am just surprised that it tripped the relay. It's a puzzlement to me.

On mine I think it's on the passenger side near the floorboard between the glovebox and floor. Not sure about yours though.

You guys obviously didn't understand my post. Cycling the key 3 or 4 time doesn't do anything when there is NO POWER to the fuel pump. And I know where the relay is and how to reset it. What I want to know is where are the SENSORS that trip the relay. Thanks for posting but neither of you answered the questions I was asking.
