Front emblem peeling

My front blue oval emblem on my 05 is peeling from the inside. My dads 05 just hte same and 3 other friends in my area the same as well. It looks like hell. Does Ford have this recalled. Cuz I want to replace it???

Welcome to the club. Ford is really proud of their brand if you judge by the quality of the emblem, huh. LOL

I've never heard of a recall where they'll pay for it. If you want it fixed, you just have to fork out the cash.

why not just use the sticker inserts from Recon? they make them in a few diff colors and were made because of this reason

Raul, I think he was talking about the Ford emblem on the grill and not the side badges. The backing starts flaking off behind the clear part. Mine is doing the same thing. Do you have anything for that?

Yeah, mine has been chipped and is falling apart. I am looking at Billet Badges front badges that are solid billet.

Just take carb cleaner and take the rest of it off ,then it will be chrome looks sick that way !
