18 hours of Buff and Shine

I just got finished washing, buffing, and waxing my truck. It took 18 hours over 2 days, but man what a difference. This was using a real Makita pro buffer with 3 different levels of compounds, not one of those $20 things from Walmart. I'd highly recommend picking one up if you don't already have one. Check out how much these things can shine with some work. That's a picture of the yard reflected off the truck!! LOL

It could look even better if I wasn't too lazy to color sand it and get rid of all the orange peel. I've got some high res pics posted here in case anybody wants to look: Buff and Shine pictures from friends & fun photos on webshots

I washed mine tonight.. man these trucks are labor intense when it comes to detailing. looks good bud. Garage it and don't drive it lol.

It sticks out 6 feet when it's pulled all the way to the wall. LOL No garage for me. I'm getting ready to take it on a 1000 mile trip next week, so it's not gonna look good for long. It needed to be done, though. It had all kinds of fine scratches in the paint that really made it look like crap in the sun. D*mn those dark colors!! LOL At least it will look good with just a wash and wax now.
