Answer, No you will not. I have been doing this for a while now. The only thing you will get is about 1-2 mpg loss. My front hubs are like yours the vaccuum lines leak and do not lock the hubs in. So come Oct. 1st which is the start of deer season my hubs get locked in. I unlock them come April 1st. Being I live in Michigan I will never know when I will need 4wheeldrive during this time frame. I have not experinced any premature wear or failure from any parts on the front axles from doing this. Even driving at highway speeds I have no problems.
