is my 04 really an 03

its and 04 but the motor is stamped 03. Im assuming its like all vehicles and that the motor was just built the year prior....but does that mean my turbo is an 03? Its one of the loudest 04s around

...it does have a 3.5 down w/ 4 out tho, but its still louder than most

It prob is, my 04 has a build date of 11-03

if the sticker on the passenger side valve cover has 2003 on it, then it's an 03 motor (including turbo and PITA ICP)...

2003 on motor....checked sticker and have a build date of 7/2003!

I knew there was a reason I liked my 04 so much ....best of both worlds

Me too! I always thought wow my turbo is loud imagine if i had an 03 one..lol then i looked at the motor and was like oh lol thats why its so loud...now i see why people swap to an 03 turbo
