is an 05 5.4 gas motor and automatic cab the same as an 03 diesel and automatic cab. i may have to change my cab and i have an 05 4 door gas motor cab. all of my interior and electronics are good in the 03 diesel truck, so i can swap all of it over.

january 2003 6.0 F-350 Lariat 4x4 cc with 08 long bed. recon cab and mirror lenses, torqueshift(reman on 9-03-09) with three disc billet convertor(500 rpm lowered stall speed),mag-hytec deep tranny pan,, 8" fabtech lift w/ 37" iroc super swampers on helos,pro comp ladder bars, custom sct x3 with tunes by eric @ innovative diesel, boost and pyro,edge insight, afe, 4" straight piped, ARP headstuds, banks intercooler & high ram intake. engine mods & maintenance by first coast diesel performance.

Should be. The only difference I could think of is the floor pan. If the gasser had a smaller auto the floor pan might not be big enough for the 5r110 tranny, but I'm pretty sure they are the same.

IMO, the cabs would be the same. One cab regardless of motor or tranny. It's cheaper for Ford that way.

My dad's company truck is an 06 Super Duty 5.4. It looks identical to my Powerstroke in every way, including tranny hump. I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable.
