The lone Ranger is Back! Back to an 07 6.0 CC King Ranch FX4 4x4!

Hello from Oz! (Australia to you Blokes)

Well you might remember be with my 06 White over Tucson Beige CC 4x4 King Ranch.... FX4, Edge Platinum w/Juice, 2" lift, 16.5 Warn Winch, Bullbar and the rest... Well, in 07 with the 6.4 Twin Turbo coming out, I sold my beloved King Ranch. And then lost confidence and did not Order the new 6.4 after all but needed a new truck so I bought a new 2008 Silverado Allison 2500 HD 4x4 Traitor huh.?

Well I really have nothing bad to say about the Silverado. I added 15,000 lb winch, Quadzilla, Gull wing canopy over full length drawer system rolling out of the bed, 2" lift again, air bags in the rear, lovely truck... But a GIRLS truck. I could only stand it 8 months. The truth is to me it was BORING to drive. I miss the Big Rig Diesel sound.

Well I AM BACK picked it up two days ago, a new (to me) with 10,000 miles (14,500 kms) a 2007 F-350 King Ranch Dually, CC, Fifth Wheel ball, FX/4, 4x4, in the Burnt Copper with Platinum underbody color, Tuscon Beige or whatever that platinum look is... AND I AM IN LOVE AGAIN....

I must be crazy, I even turn the stereo off JUST TO LISTEN TO THE 6.0 DONK!!!! A real sicko I guess... BUT I LOVE IT AND I AM BACK. Not sure I have confidence the bugs are out of the 6.4 and my last 6.0 was Purrrfect!!!

I AM IN LOVE! ALMOST SLEPT IN IT LAST NIGHT...
The last of the Saddle Leather look, and I love the body style, I might just stop here Mates and stick with a good thing.... This is a Mans Truck...!!! I'm taking the LOOONNG WAY HOME...

And you Guys and Gals thought you were finally rid of the lone Ranger... Bad News, I'M BACK WITH THE LAST OF THE LEGENDS

Hey Guys, it is good to be back...

We have two Dodges, and in our Company Bushtracker I have had three Fords, and a new Silverado... All I have to say is Ford has a feel better than all the others..... Bigger chassis, bigger running gear, it just has a solid feel to it. Even doing something like lifting the tailgate, on the Silverado it feels like it is too thin, too light pressed out of beer cans. A shopping trolly dented the bumper!! My F-350 tailgate is probably twice as strong and closes with a solid truck CLUNK and not Girls light tinny "click"....

I won't talk about our Company Dodge Cummins 4x4 CC broke down with Engine Control Module failure, about 2000 kms out west in Mt. Isa right now.. Or the Flatbed truck going to pick it up in a couple of weeks...

Look, I have studied them, done the Engineering, and driven them all. And I have come back home. Sure I wish we had a better motor system, but I have never had a problem with any of my three Fords before this King Ranch.. My last King Ranch was flawless!! Sure I like the Dodge Cummins engine, it is only the rest of the truck that sucks...!!!

Best Regards to all of you from the lone Ranger .... Out on the "Last Frontier" in Oz.

Hello Banshee 34,

I sent you a PM a few months ago, don't know if you got it... After one year of research and testing in a few vehicles I am a dedicated Fan of the FlashLube Product...

It goes in with every fill, cleans the system, but the main advantage is the added "Lubricity" to make up for the dry fuel lost lube in the ULSD.... While they claim (research with the Refiners on my end) that there are "Lubricity Agents" added to the ULSD, we have had unexplained premature injection pump failures in older vehicles...

So, I say Bull Dust !!! You know what I mean...

Banshee, I will add a Thread to this Forum with the results if you suggest it is beneficial...

Regards from Oz....

And to the Clown that mentioned Tonto: You got it wrong... This is the Ranger, like the Statue in Austin, "One Riot, One Ranger".... Out on the "Last Frontier" in Oz, with my seven horses.

No Offence intended, just a bit of fun...
