In tank heater for stock fuel tank
Is there such a thing available? I'd like to add a tank heater to my stock tank. I don't need to heat it to WVO temps but am looking at keeping Biodiesel from gelling. I only need to keep it up above 60 degrees or so. I'll also add a heated filter. Anybody done this?

Use one of these...

a 12V heater pad would have to be used while parked though...the hotfox only heats up after you have driven and the coolant reachees temp.

Thanks Clay. I was thinking that the Artic Fox wasn't really the solution to the problem. I really don't want to run a dual tank setup so I guess I'll have to really put my little pea brain to work and figure this out.

At what pressure does diesel ignite. just the #2 diesel that you get at any conventional pump.
And also if its possible with diesel, what temp "could" it ignite. just wondering. Last edited by smokersteve; 04-01-2009 at 11:55 AM. |
