Question 2 SIDED TAPE REMOVEL???

Hey guys, does anyone know the best way to get 2 sided tape off of painted plastic with out wrecking anything?? I FINALLY found a set of 05 painted fender flares and need to replace the tape... any suggestions that won't hurt it??

WD-40. Spray it on and rub lightly with a shop rag or terry cloth.

and wd-40 won't affect the painted plastic??

I took the two sided tape off. It helped that I was in Arizona summer. Get it nice and warm then use your thumbs and start from one end. Push/Peel it off with your thumb.

Very tedious but I got it all off. Took a few hours. That stuff does not just wipe off

I used some kind of product from wal-mart, it wasnt WD40 but something specifically Anti-adhesive
