Dealer Tech Question
For you techs out there I'm taking my truck in on Tues. to have my gaskets checked. I have one profesional opinion that my gaskets are bad. The service manager said he would stud it "if" that is the problem. My ? is how much time will I have to get my studs in. Can you diagnose the problem without tearing down the whole engine first. I don't want to have a set of studs lying around.

they dont have to tar the engine down to diagnose head gaskets , there is steps to take in diagnosing a if its an egr cooler /oil cooler problem, or hadgasket issue , if the techn knows proper diagnosis procedure , there is no tear down required
