Homemade Zoodad Plate
What do guys think? I cut the hole, grabbed some screen from Homedepot, a few screws and the job was done. I'll grab some pics of it installed soon, but you get the point.

I did basically the same thing. A few bucks in material from Lowes and about 2 minutes with my rotozip viola. It is still one of my favorite mods. With an Airaid filter sitting behind the hole and a full 4" turbo back it sounds like it could suck you right through the grill. I love it. Not the best picture but you get the idea. Mine is nylon screen sandwiched between aluminum frames and painted black for stealth and no worries about rust. I have run through some wicked rain storms at 70 mph and it works just fine.
