idling

I have noticed in the last few weeks, sometimes my truck idles like it wants to die, seems like it will drop below 500 then jump back up where it is supposed to be. Is there a common issue with these truck that will cause this?? Also sometimes on start up, it seems like it has a hard time starting up. It runs really good other than that! Thanks in advance. Oh yeah I run diesel kleen ever fill up !

What about cleaning your egr valve, if not that it could be an injector.

get a fuel additive in there, check the oil. if your running 4 your going to have a huge amount of soot build up. Are you using the low end responsiveness settings????
