Ok it's been a while since I tinkered on this thing so I started back into it. I had my livewire set to show d.i.t and I guess I have never had it on when the truck was running cold. It showed 7.something

I have never ever seen it go past 4.0. so i figured it was the low power when cold deal. but then that made me even more confused because i thought the higher the number the more timing it was putting into it. I guess I'm thinking of it to much like a gasser. So how do they determine timing, is it degrees advanced/retarded like a gasser or is it different? my thinking was when the gauge reads 0 it tdc and higher numbers were advanced, lower numbers retarded. like I said the highest I've seen it go was 4.0 that was 90mph flat ground with about a 40mph tailwind. otherwise no matter what tune i am running it stays right at 3.2 or 3.4 at 55-60 mph. If someone could tell what the numbers mean it would help me out alot.
