03 Excursion 6.0 Should I buy it??

I have found a very clean 03 Excursion, Eddie Bauer4X4, with 97000 miles. Bone stock . I read A LOT OF NEGATIVE STUFF about the 6.0 engine so I'm wondering if I should keep looking?? I can get it for about $10,000. What should I look for as to factory fixes that may(or should) have been done/ .Thanks

I drive a 04 1-ton with the 6.0 and I love it if I could have found a truck like your talking about when lookin for my wife a new truck I would have been all over that.

See if you can get an OASIS report on the truck. That will tell you what kind of warranty repairs were done. The 6.0 is not a bad engine. The early ones had some issues. but by 97k they should be worked out

Sounds like a damn good deal to me! Like said above, all the bugs should be worked out by 97k. 10k for an Eddie Bauer is pretty good!

We run them here free for premium members. All we need is the VIN off the truck

Start a thread here asking for the OASIS and we will get it to you We need the VIN and an email address to send the report too
