my truck is gone....burned to death....

sad day yesturday...I was on my way home when I smelled something burning, but it was a nice day out and I had the windows open. I thought it may be someone on my travel buring something....i thought wrong!! I had a big smoke cloud from the engine and complete loss of power!! I pulled over and saw flames from under the hood. A state cop blocked the roadway and attempted to put the fire out...no luck... fire department was able to put the truck out but not soon enough for a total loss!! I had a 2007 f-350 lariat with the RIZE lift, 10 remote reservoir shocks, 20"wheels, 37" tires, and custom navigaion and dvd combo...all gone. Not to mention the exhaust and programer.. Before picture and after pictures to follow. My insurance is investigating the cause of the fire...possible trans line blew. I need a truck now!!!

Sorry to hear about your rig, the good thing is it doesn't sound like anyone was hurt.

Good luck finding a new truck!

sorry to hear I lost my rig in a fire in april ,22,000 in damages. It was a bad wiring harness under the drivers seat. Good luck with your insurance it took a couple of months of fighting with mine but they eventually settled with me.

Sorry to hear about you loss. If there is anything we can do, anything, just ask. Can we bring over a covered dish? Beverages? Do you have enough chairs for visitors to sit in? Just let us know what you need man. It is hard right now but it will get better. Just ask Mike (mudrunningpig). He has an awesome truck now! Won't let me ride in it. But it is nice looking!

Edit: Pictures are horrible! How can you stand to look at them!
