Question

I was at the dealer today and I was asking about the extended warrenty they have for the Diesel engines. For about $2600 they will cover most things on the motor to 200,000 miles(IE the important stuff heads, EGR, Injectors, Turbo and much more.)

I know this is a deal compaired to the price of paying for this to be done but my question is I have 120000 on my rig already do you think I should still go for it. I am sure I know what the response will be just wanted to check.

I do plan to stud the motor and remove the EGR. Right now the truck has stacks and a lift and that is about it. I have an SCT on the way.

Thanks for all your help

Sorry about that it is a 2005 F250. I also forgot to mention this is my daily driver.

I wouldn't do it. Why pay for something that they may deny for mods.

If you do put in studs and delete the egr, that is fixing the 2 main reasons that you might need the warranty!!! So I wouldn't waste my money on the extra warranty.

And the fact that Ford could void the warranty anyway if anything is not stock! Then you're out the money you spent on the warranty.
