Front leafs on 05/07

Does anyone know if you can put front leaf springs on a 05/07? Has the frame changed at all or have the spring mount locations been modified? Any help please.
Dave

**** man if your gonan go leafs ill trade ya lol.... im pretty sure its not gonna be a direct bolt on thing.... your gonna have to change your front axle to the 99-04 setup for the leafs... that and you will need to weld or drill in the hanger kits....

if you find a nice used setup or someone to split it with it shouldnt be too hard....

change front axle? he doesn't have one, it's 2wd, if you know how to weld it wouldn't be hard to fab up some hangers and springs and just go ahead and put a dana 60 under that thing, add a transfer case and let it rip

Lil project underway. So was that a yes on the leafs? Basically I just need to know if the leaf spring mounts are a direct bolt in. Did they change anything about where the mounts went in the later models?

Not sure.

I know to convert a 99-04 to a 05+ front axle and suspension that you have to drill some holes in the frame. Never known anyone to go the opposite way.

I'd have to look at my 07 tomorrow to get a better idea.

Are you going 4x4 or just looking to go in the air?
