HPOP fitting repair time
My truck died on the highway today, turns out to be a bad hpop fitting, just wondering if you guys had a guide that would say the labour time to change the fitting, dealer says its a 22 hour job, seems kinda long to me.

If it is the STC fitting that you are refering to, then it is less then 8 hours on the 6.0. I just had to have mine done by Ford. They diagnosed it one night, and had it fixed at the next shift. He didn't work on it the entire time either.

They said they had to change the branch pipe too. Told me they would have to pull the tranny and remove the rear engine cover to get at it.

I just read about that part today.
And, yes it is pretty involved from the sounds of it.
