Run one quart of ATF in a tank to clean the system, change the filters and call it good.
I run a quart of new vegi oil in every tank for the lubrication properties.

i thought atf was a no no for the diesels. the reason i say this is because i have read some threads of people who burn the wmo said it wasnt good. but since i never done it, i really dont know.

I run Standyne Performance Formula and the Motorcraft Cetane Booster and Perfmance Formula.

I get better fuel economy when running them, however I don't notice a difference between the two products.

It's up to you what you want to run. There are lots of crazy products out there. I know a few people have had good results with Diesel Kleen too.

ATF cleans. One guart in a 30 gallon tank of diesel won't hurt anything. Theres people running 50% blends of ATF...this isn't something i would do but a quart to clean out the system is okay i think.

I use Power Service's DIESEL KLEEN in the summer (warmer months) and their diesel fuel supplement +cetane boost in the winter (colder months)

I've noticed a SLIGHT boost in mileage since using it,

I use 8oz at every fillup, BTW.

i use stanadyne ulsd fuel treatment additive in every tank for the lubricity values that the new diesel doesnt have. and i use seam foam every 5,000 miles. one can in the fuel filter housing and one in the tank. noticed better fuel mileage right away.

I have been running a quart of ATF in every other tank Done it for years and I have not had a problem on any my diesels regardless of Brand. But its really all up to you and what makes you feel good I guess.
