Angry FAILED INSPECTION - HID HEADLIGHTS

Well...I failed my state inspection, and just got pulled over (got a ticket). I have the HID headlight kit installed, but I only have one (light up the universe) setting. I also have my front windows tinted @ 13%. Looks like I am going to have to get my windows redone (25%) and rip out the HID headlights so that I can pass inspection.

Could you be more specific about the light/ticket situation? I understand the tint deal.

Choctaw...They failed me because I only have one setting on my HID's (no high beam), and because of the 13% Tint. I have been driving around out of inspection for a while now trying to find someone who would pass me so that I would have to hassle with changing the tint and headlights. Well...I finally got pulled over. He actually whiped out his tint measuring device...got me on that and my inspection. Not to mention the fact that I am running without a front license plate. I now have 10 days to get this stuff taken care of.

Slammed - yeah I wish I was still out in Midland. I just moved down to The Woodlands. I don't think I would have had any problem getting inspected out in Midland. Do you only have one setting on your lights?

Not me, just have to upgrade to the Bi-xenon bulb before inspection time!

I bought my BiXenon set from HID King on Ebay. Best $150 I ever spend. Passed inspection with no issue. They didn't notice my 20%.
