any info using VIN please

First let me say WOW, this is one of the most active and useful sites I've ever been on. I found it this week during a search related to 2007 F250 values, which brings me to my question: I'm considering purchasing a 2007 F250 Crew Cab FX4 PSD, but I am more than a little worried seeing some of the info here and elsewhere. It has 32k miles, so still under the 3/36. I've seen posts here where members have searched repair history using the VIN, can someone do that for this truck? The VIN is 1FTSW21P67EA17090. Does the 5/100k warranty cover the problems mentioned such as head gaskets and new EGRs? Any advice would be appreciated, never owned a diesel. Thanks in advance.

I am not really great with the 6.0's. But look for obvious things. Being an 07 I think having 32,000 really is not that bad. Actually if you go with the average driving. That kbb uses 32,000 miles is actually kinda high for that year truck.

One thing you can do is ask the dealer if they will provide you with an Oasis report. I mean if that report is going to be a selling factor for the truck. I know if I was the manager of the dealer I would provide you with it.

What this tells me is that the truck in question hasn't had any repairs under warranty shown. It may be because of it happening a long time ago, or nothing happened at all. I don't know which. It has no extended warranty coverage.

The information shows the start date of the warranty, so you know exactly when it will be over.

No warranty work has been done to this truck. Which tells me it is a good running truck. Remember the engine is covered 5 years or 100,000 miles. If it was me and the price was right. I most likely would buy this truck.

welcome to the org bud..... i say go for it... you still have some of the bumper to bumper warranty on it and you still have the 100k warranty on the drivetrain like scott pointed out....
