Signal mirror ?

The back to my passenger side mirror will not stay clipped in place. I have another mirror for the passenger side but the turn signal lens is cracked. My question is how is that lens mounted into the mirror and how hard would it be to just swap out? Any help is very appreciated.

It has what I guess you'd call butterfly clips. It's hard to explain, but really easy to remove (lense from mirror cover). Getting the mirror cover off is a PITA. There are three clips behind the mirror itself which you need to pry apart. The top two I think need to go down, the bottom one is weird in a way you have to keep the tab in the center to remove it. You'd understand if you saw it. Someone clipped my mirror and shattered my signal lense so I installed putco smoked not to long ago. Took no more than 10 min to get the first one, once it's off you'll see how to get it.

Also be careful when installing and removing the cover, it has other tabs that are fragile. You can do without em but..
