If it's not CI4, what is it? CJ-4/SM? If so, the new 5-40 Rotella CJ4/sm is one of the few oils that's advertising the ford oil spec.

I just changed to this oil, and I really like it. The starts are a lot easier on the engine, from what I can hear (no groaning). I haven't driven it enough to see any mpg increase, but I did just pull about 6k through the mountains this weekend, and still have a little over 1/4 tank and over 250 miles. I usually get 370 or so miles on a tank, when empty. Hope that helps.

I run the Mobil 1 5w-40 with good results in the winter and starting. I have used Rot-T with good results. I may try the Ford oil just to see the results.

FYI I just priced the FORD 5w-40 at the dealer for a cost of $27 for a 5 quart jug. As luck would have it it comes 4 jugs to a case.

Sam's Club has the Rot-T for $27 for 3-1 gallon jugs (12 qts).
