Injectors run after shutdown

My father inlaw just bought an 04 the build date is 08/03 did they have most of the bugs worked out of them by then and also I have an 06 when you shut my truck off it shuts off when you shut his 04 off the injectors still run is this a problem how do you fix it.

Yes it was a re flash from ford. It cycles the injectors for about 30 seconds. Ford thought it would help with re starts. There is a new flash out where you don't hear them.

my truck does it also, I took it to the dealer to have the latest flash done cause I can't stand it anymore, and the wanted $70 to flash it, I told them they put the dumb flash in, I shouldn't have to pay to have it fixed.still have the old cycle flash and it sucks
