ATT. vendors MUFF delete pipe wanted???

was wanting to delete the muffler. however the problem is Banks wants $120 bucks for a piece of 4" 409 SS thats 26" long. and im not gonna pay that. i found MBRP has the same thing for like $60, the problem however is that the mbrp is 4-5" longer than the banks. is there any vendors on here that can help me out. thanks in advance

You have a few options.

1. Remove the pipe forward of the muffer and chop a few inches off to make it fit.
2. Cut a few inches off the MBRP pipe and use a band clamp to hold it onto the other parts of the exhaust. (Best if you're worried about warranty).
3. Just put flex pipe on it. (Works great for warranty, cheapest).

thanks man i have really been leaning towards option 2. just havent been able to find an exhaust shop yet that can expand 4" to make a bell so it will slip over the existing pipe. but ilike the first idea a little better. i sure do feel like a moron right now for not thinkin of that
