International Filter Part Numbers

Ok I think we need to make a sticky for part # cross ref. I've been doing some searching around and have found two different part numbers for the 6.0 oil filter: 1840752C91 & 1844588C91. What is the difference? Can someone shine some light on that? Same with the fuel filter kit, 1847170C92 OR 1847170C93. What's going on here? Once we get it straight, we need to sticky it.

I know this is in the 6.0 section, but does anyone know what the cross reference is for the 6.4 fuel filter?

same as 6.0 oil filter. I used the search feature in PDF, worked great. Got my part #'s. Thank you!! I've found MC or Racor filters online through dieselfilteronline.com. Anyone tried them yet? seems if you buy a few at a time it's worth it, and easy to your door. Isn't a racor a OEM filter?

Thanks again by the way. Useful link. But I can't believe how expensive the Int/nav dealer was... $20.xx/Ea.

Fram CH9549 at Chinamart IS a Racor filter for about $15. Just repackaged and MUCH cheaper. If you don't believe me then pull a Motorcraft and a Fram out of the box and compare them. The only difference may be the country of manufacture---USA or Germany. Pepboys also runs a 2/$7 dollar special frequently on Fram filters and some, but not all, stores will honor the coupons which are available on their website. They just ended a sale Saturday.
