just got back from my first test drive with my sct installed. def worth the money!! runs like a raped dog now!! lol what tunes and settings are u guys getting the best fuel mileage with?

SCT with ID's aggressive street program I'm averaging 18.5mpg (hand calculated) commuting 52 miles round trip through 12 stop lights blowing some smoke occasionally. I have an ARE camper shell so my truck is slightly heavier than stock. The weight of the camper shell dropped me about .5mpg after I got it a couple years ago.

The highest I've seen is 19.8mpg but that was with a really light foot and some country road driving. The lowest I've seen with the SCT is 16mpg and I was flogging it continually. When my truck was stock my average was 15.8mpg with a light foot.

I'm towing next week so I'll see what the tow program gives me with my camper.

Just hand cal'ed 17.6 with Innovated extream street tune, most was to and from work 30 mile round trip runnning 60 MPH. When I was in town had the some coal a flowin, even got a redneck in a old beat up yoda wanna see how much somke I could blow. Best part about it, ever time I smoked him he was always next my tail pipe with his window down.

the tune u have effect the mpg a lil but keepin the foot out of it is the deciding factor... With a programmer or tune it is hard to keep from it tho.... LOL

My best mileage comes with a race file and a light foot. My looney or Xtreme race file run the most efficient.

I recently added the SCT X3 (running ID extreme street) to my truck and my mileage (hand calculated) on my last highway trip was 19.8. This trip totaled 468 miles of interstate, including 4 mountain passes (one over the continental divide). It was over 100 degrees most of the trip so I had the A/C blowing. I also had two motorcycles in the bed of my truck. I'm headed back today and I'm curious to see what the mileage is going to be. At the same time I added the SCT I also added a MBRP 4" TB exhause w/ cat delete and Edge Insight gauges w/ EGT. I'm also running max tire pressure.

ill keep you guys posted on the results. i just recently took a trip to priest lake, id and got 16.7 pulling my 16.5ft hewescraft and all camping supplys. so hopefully it will be even better with the sct.
