Turbo question

Anyone know if the turbo that is on the 6.0 is the same as or smaller/larger than the one that is on the 7.3's. If it's larger has anyone ever swapped them?

I don't know about the size, but there are some huge differences in the fundamental design of the turbo making a 6.0 to 7.3 swap very difficult if not impossible.

All of the 7.3 turbo's (from pre-powerstroke-early '03) were a fixed geometry on the vanes. The 6.0 introduced a Variable Geometry Turbo (VGT) and are much more complicated beast, and need the PCM programming to control the vanes and the boost.
