6.0 Head Temp

I was wanting to if what I was told held any truth, I was told that on the 6.0 the head temp. was reaching 600 deg. and higher I think it sounds like a story, I would think that there would be a lot of warped & cracked heads so is there any truth to this !! I don't know much about the 6.0

its possible. i mean i can get my truck up to 1600* on egts, you got your turbo up there putting out some heat. its possible that maybe it can get pretty hot just because of the heat around it
