I accidently broke out the rear sliding window HELP!

Well, this morning about 5:00am the rain started pouring down at the lake so I decided i better put the boat in the garage. I backed it in and got out to make sure I was all the way in, go back to the truck and it is locked and still running!! I tried everything to get in (i didnt know the keyless entry code) but couldnt. I was trying to pry the rear sliding window open when it of course broke. Anyone have any idea where I can get a new one at a decent price? Thanks guys...

Ouch..that sucks.

I have always had good luck with new OEM windows at like a chain store like SafeLite or such. Or call around junk/salvage yards for any that have trucks they're parting out.

And I know its kinda hindsight, but you might wanna memorize the entry code now.

Yea the first thing I did when I got in the truck was put my own code in so I will remember it for the future. Do they made just the sliding window itself??! From everything I have seen on the internet so far it is the ENTIRE back window w/ the sliding glass in it. I sure hope I dont have to replace the entire thing

try a window shop. we have one up here that specializes in auto glass but i dont know if you do there.

Unfortunatly you probably won't be able to find just the center piece. I had mine broken out years ago (little Ranger I had) and had to replace the whole window.

MAYBE at a junk yard that maybe another part of the window is damaged.

Sorry bud..wish I could of said, "Call so & so, they'll hook ya up." But I can't.

I would start with a junk/salvage yard search first if you really want to just replace the center piece. Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market is a national junk yard database. You can try that.

I had a single piece of glass in my F-250 but wanted a sliding rear window and got one for $125 from a junk yard and if I was you I wouldn't try putting it in by your self... would get a extra set of hands to do so... it makes it a heck of alot easier

Did a quick search...over half a dozen in OK popped up, all less then $300.
