POP OR RATTLE IN DRIVERS SIDE REAR DOOR

I have this really annoying sound coming from my drivers side rear door and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or may have an idea of what could cause this. It sounds like a poping noise.

I did a search and I think 2005f250 hada similar problem , but it does not say wether it was resolved . This noise has been driving me crazy for the last month and a half. I can't seem to pin point it.

Its hard to say. It could be a bad weld or a bolt that came loose. your just going to have to get in there and start hunting.

On my '03 I found that the rubber door stop was not touching the door frame, I took some 1" heater hose which fit over the top of the existing rubber bumper and made a rubber bumper long enough to touch the door frame which solved my rattle.
