Fuel filter on engine

Ok I went to change my Fuel filter on the engine and when i went unscew it out i stripped it and broke the 1/2 drive spot as well i want to kill the dealer that put it in. But i have the replacement cap but what would be a good way to remove it?

I would try the filter wrench like the previous poster suggested. Or one of those rubber multipurpose strap wrenches.
