broken in...

when does the diesel engine finally get broken in? i heard that it was 70,000 miles. but i'm interested in a truck with 76K miles, is that too much. its a harley davidson 4x4 on ebay for $29K w/ 76K miles. good buy or not. it's an '05

When people tell you a truck with 70k miles is just "broke it" they are exagerating meaning it still has lots of life left.
The first 500 miles is when "break in" occures where the rings actually seat good in the cylinder

They are broke in when they come off the truck!

For a 2005 HD, that sounds like a good deal. Mileage is kinda high, but hey... the 2005's are solid units... If I was in the market I'd go for it.

Well

If i wouldn't have blown my money on stupid crap and been up to my but in racing pro mod snowmobiles in high school the job I had I could have paid cash for a brand new Stroker in 10th grade.
