Angry I hate stupid people at stealership

so my truck keeps throwing a check engine light and it left me stranded on the bottom of the grape vine coming back from pismo it had no power on flat ground I was doing 30mph floored. so the next week I took my truck in to my local stealership and they said the turbo was full of carbon so they took it apart and cleaned it then put back together. then they also replaced my egr valve. so I though cool problem solved... nope check engine light. took it back and he was talking crap saying that I had a programmer on it and that was causing all my problems but he didn't void what was left of my warrenty, he just had the tech reflash my ecu, then he said I should have no more problems....nope check engine light again. so I go and buy a dtc reader to really figure out what is wrong with my truck....P132B....I called up nick the service writer and tell him I really think my truck needs a new turbo. he says if I bring my truck in with the k&n filter they will probably reject my warranty. he says that is what is causing that code. WTF how stupid does he think I am!?
so heres my question. a stock intake is about 430 bucks because I don't have one and I don't think my buddys 07 6.0 intake will fit or else I would switch it to get my truck fixed. or should I tell nick F U just do a ka test on my truck to make sure it is the turbo and pay them for their time and buy a new turbo out of my own pocket and put it in myself?
oh yeah stats... my truck is an 03 6.0 with intake and exhaust.thats it. and I was towing about 9k pound toy hauler when I was stranded. no power loss when not towing....P132B is sticking or stuckturbo charger
please let me know what you guys would do. oh yeah new turbo from stealership....about1400 bucks.

The 07 intake should fit! If you are set on getting a new turbo, there is a 04 turbo in the classifieds for $400 I think... or eBay.... But the K&N could easily cause them to deny a turbo warranty, because K&N is known to let more dirt in and dust a turbo...

I would think because there is a certain sense of pride you have when you work for a dealership. Most people that are associated with dealerships will probably take offense because it is disrespectful no matter how you look at it. And the OP has the kind of attitude towards this situation that will only compound his problems with the dealership. To the OP, work with them, be courteous even if you have to bite your tongue. If it means a difference between buying a stock intake off of eBay or paying for a turbo and labor do what you have got to do but do it in a courteous respectful manner.

I DONT HAVE A CHIP ON MY SHOULDER , no where in his post did he ever gripe about price , just that his truck wasnt fixed , end of discussion, and for another reason, us TECH'S come on here and give info for free , do not charge anything , and totally volunteer to give this info that has taken alot to learn , so yeah it is a little offensive at times, i dont know what you do for a living , if it was a service to public whatever it may be and then someone beats you up over it , you would too

but Scuffy you know aswell as I do..alot of techs are jerks..he may not have went in with the right attitude..I don't know..but it was nothing towards you..if you don't want to help him that's fine..another website will I am sure.

I am a building contractor..sometimes a thankless job..there are alot of fly by nights that give builders a bad name..when someone speak of an 'injustice' or a dislike of a contractor..its usually justified.

ill agee we arent all the same , the bad ones make it hard on the ones that try and do the right thing in any field , if he feels that way then he needs to find another site to ask on, thats the way i feel about it , i take my job and what i do here on the .org very seriously , when a person takes hours which adds up to days giving out free info when they dont have to it does hit me wrong sometimes , hope that makes since
