radio question

What is the AUX button for on the stock 6-disc changer in the Lariat's?

probably for a input like iPod or something i may be wrong but thats what most aux buttons are for is there an input jack on the radio?

They are there for factory aux inputs like a cd changer or sat radio. There are no useable rca or other jacks without an aftermarket box.

I was told there is an aux jack in the back of the unit. Don't know if that is true or not (yet).

check here. i've been trying to decide which one is best as some of these seem kind of expensive? anyone else have any experience here?

Thay are useable with something called a PIE adapter (precision electronics adaptor) I have seen a model that provides 4 inputs as well.

just my two cents, my best friend is a ford tech. i asked him the same question. he told me that it was for a dealer installed option of satellite radio. he says you can buy the kit from the dealership, they also make an ipod adapter.
