2005 6.0L difference between Model A325 and Model A325C

Just trying to find out what the difference is in these 2 motors or are they interchangeable. Didn't know if the PCM would work for either.

Hmm... I have heard something about this in the past, however I can't recall enough of the info in order to assist with your question. I think it had something to do with its build location BUT I'm probably wrong.

Im not sure about the "numbered builds", but if your referring to the early and late build motors....NO, they are not interchangable. They are slightly different in design and some sensor locatins and electrical connections are also different

This is the tag on the passenger side valve cover one is blue with Model A325
and one is red with Model A325C on it.

if they are both 05 motors, there were some very slight productions changes but nothing i see as making the motors uncompatable

They are both 05's. One guy told me the C was for Canadian and they had different emissions and may take a different PCM. Didn't know for sure so thought I would ask here.

I got the new motor today and the tag says its a California emissions compliant motor will this make a difference with the PCM?
