Are the numbers you posted for the sticky, to the wheels or from the flywheel? And if its from the flywheel, anyone got stock numbers to the wheel? Curious to know what Im running with the Diablo set at 100hp tune. Thx

so what do any of the 04-07 stock 6.0s with the torqueshift run stock? like my extended cab 4x4 or a crew cab? I thought they were faster than "16.8s"? I guess it just feels faster than it is

My v6 grand am GT i know is about 16.0s so i should have my g/f drive the truck from a stop and ill see which one is faster

on the first page of this thread i posted times i got with my stock '05 supercab longbed 4x4 truck with about 4K on the odometer. i've had the EBPS replaced and PCM reflashed (as per a recall) so i don't know what it'll do now.

The runs i did were on an empty road, using 4x4 High to get launched the 16.6 sec run was with a slight tail wind, the others were in the opposite direction/with a head wind. i imagine all stock trucks will run about the same. I'm curious to know what the modded trucks like Rodslinger's truck is doing.

Slight difference on the hp/tq numbers. The Ford sticker on my valve cover says 325hp and 560ftlbs torque. Slight difference on the torque value. My PSD is a 03 made in May.

and that's right, in '03 the engine was brand new so Ford put a slightly conservative number in there for torque, just be sure no engine would make them a liar. as the years passed they got more confident and so advertised a slight increase. that have been some very subtle improvements to the engine too of course. If your engine is healty i'd wager that you could strap it to a dyno and actually find a little more power then what's on the sticker. ford is famous for conservative power ratings.

Your Edge likely will not roll coal like you're seeing other trucks do. Truthfully it is overfueling and contributes to high EGT's which can damage your engine if not kept in check. A properly tuned truck (tuned beyond stock) should burn off most if not all of the fuel once the turbo is lit. Big smoke doesn't always mean a truck is fast, either.

Torque is the same for any size of tire, but the force to move the truck ahead in a drag is much higher with smaller tire, torque is force x distance from axe of rotation
