I've looked at some different injection systems but it's the warranty issue that's kept me from doing it. I'm into the cosmetics as well as the performance but I tore the crap out of my rig this weekend on our ranch trying to get things ready for deer season. A black truck and mesquite scratches don't work.......

I've heard good things about propane injection, but what about nitrous? Is it bad for your truck? How much more power do you expect to get out of a nitrous system?

from what i've read adding nitrous is almost better then adding propane (adding both sounds like real fun) Nitrous is just an oxidizer. two parts nitrogen one part oxygen. at 375 deg they seperate the nitrogen cools every thing off and the oxygen burns more fuel. and since it's impossible to run a diesel lean, the more the better (as long as you have unburnt fuel) it really helps with dragracing. had it on my SVO (turbo charges 2.3L with a five speed) worked great for spolling the turbo a bit before a drage race.

Time check with G-Tech

I've borrowed a G-Tech from a friend of mine for 7.3. I only did 0-60 runs, as I didn't really feel like going a full 1/4 without knowing my EGT. With my exhaust hacked off at the time (prior to my magnaflow kit) stock intake, and SuperChip I was running right around 9 second 0-60's. That sounds pretty accurate to me, considering I ran a few stock 6.0 strokers and I pulled very slightly on them. So i'd say it's a pretty accurate device, however i'll only trust my local drag strip to tell me the exact 1/4 time.
By the way, my friend is selling that G-Tech for 100 bucks. He has some other thing he bought that tells all his times and stuff. It's in perfect shape, so if any of you are interested email me at Goodfella8243@yahoo.com and let me know! Thanks!

G-Tekken

I believe the G-Tech you're referring to is the Pro. That's like the G-low-tech. The one my friend is selling is the G-Tech Pro Competition. It's much better. But I still do not fully trust any in vehicle timing devices!

To the best of MY understanding, the Torque on 04 F-250's was only 560 pound feet of torque. They raised it by 10 HP for 05+.

A big difference!

That sounds correct. I wonder who will be the first to 700lb-ft?!
