Part Numbers Freez Plug & 08 Diff Cover

looking to see if any one has a part number for the freeze plug to block off the flow of exhaust from the UP pipe to the EGR cooler. The best I can recall it is a inch and a quarter or inch and a half shallow freeze plug.

Any one know the part # for a 08 Diff cover, rear.

Any recommendations on gear oil?

for the diff cover
You will need new bolts however, as the bolts on the stamped steel diff covers arent long enough.
Bolts stainless hex head 5/16 18, 1 1/4 inch long. Used stainless lock washer. Blue locktite to 20 ft.lbs

1 1/2" shallow freeze plug. All I did was ask the guy at O'Reilly's ('cause I didn't have a part number either) for it and he pulled it out of the box.

good 08 diff info. Thnx. I probably won't do mine until the gear oil has some miles on it. 13k can't be "justified". that's a waste. I'm filing away the info for later.
