05 EGR

I have a friend who is having problems with the EGR on his 05. Is it possible to block the EGR? Any other fixes he could do?

Yes you can block off the egr. On the 05's I think you have to either take the passenger side up pipe off and weld the tube that goes to the egr shut or you could buy the pipe that already has the egr blocked, I forget who sells them I think it might be elite. Also if your friend is planning on getting a tuner, an SCT with custom tunes can turn off the egr in the programming.
