Question Synthetic Oil Question

Hey guys... I have been having a few guys tell me to start using the ESSO 0W40 sythetic in my truck... wondering if anyone else has used it? I'm worried that it is not good enough for summer conditions?? anyone know??

Sounds like a great up north winter oil. I am about to switch to 5w-40 Schaeffer 9000. Great oil at a great price.

we run 0w-40 deere syn in our boats year around no problems, as long as esso meets ford specs you should be good (ci-4 plus or better)
