30,000mi tranny service
Getting ready to service my tranny where do I get the external filter at an also does the torque converter have a drain plug. How will it require I put back in when Im done what kind of fluid do I use. Any tips or advise.

torque converter doesnt have drain plug , the filter i would get from ford , and the fluid is mercon sp fluid, if this is a 6.0 we are discussing

It would probably be a good idea to invest the $20 in a Chilton/Haynes manual, which tells you how to do all this stuff (with pictures)
