Choosing My Truck...

Alright guys...

Iíve asked a few questions here as a newbie and have gotten some great help. Now I need some moreÖ

Iíve got two trucks that Iím trying to decide between buying next week.

The firstÖ 05í King Ranch F350, SRW, Crew Cab, Long Bed, White with Tan and 76K. Itís absolutely loaded Ė heated seats, sunroof, etc.

The otherÖ 06í XLT F350, SRW, Crew Cab, Long Bed, Silver with 56K. It too, is really well equipped. Sunroof, power rear window, heated mirrors, and leather. However, it has a vinyl rear bench seat. I thought this was a little odd, but after thinking about it, I actually like it. Iíve got two labs. They ride wherever I go. They vinyl has always held up well and Iím not excited about buying a seat cover to protect the leather.

The 06 is about $2500 more than the 05 King Ranch. I know it has less miles, and is a year newer, but Iím wondering if Iím being a dumb a$$ for considering passing on the King Ranch. The other part is that I ABSOLUTELY HATE the guy Iíve been talking to about the silver 06. Heís a smart-mouth that interrupts me just about every sentence. Iíve decided that if I go with the silver 06, Iím going to tell the manager that Iím going to buy that truck as long as ANYONE other than John P&^##^%$ is my salesman.

What Iím wondering is: What values do you all place on things like, age, mileage, trim levels? Is the 05 King Ranch with 76K the way to go? Or should I go with less miles, and, ďstuff.Ē I think I actually feel more comfortable in the slightly plainer, silver truck. I know this may be a bit of a silly question to ask on an internet forum, but at least Iím not asking for marriage advice or anythingÖ Just looking for a little insight.

Thanks in advanceÖ

Kevin

It's a tough call

I'd have to say go with which ever truck you "feel" more. Years and mileage are close enough I wouldn't worry about it. Now trim level,.... hmmmmm, I don't know. I've never worried to much about the "little stuff", as long as both had power win., power locks and leather, I'd put them in the same class, that's me though.

The vinyl rear seat might have been a selling point to me, I got a dog that goes everywhere too.

I don't know bud, I guess I didn't help much , Good luck though!!

25k ain't that big of a difference. I'd go KR, you'll enjoy the all that comes with the trim.
