zoodad mod

i am itching to do this mod mainly because of the unbeatable price. but i dont want to just cut a hole in the panel, id like to rig something that directs all the incoming air to the filter.(want it to look good too) anybody have any good ideas or pics that fit this criteria? ive seen more on 7.3 but i dont see how it helps that much with the filter directly behind the battery(that is correct uh?)

The snorkel on the 7.3 does come from the area where you do the ZooDad mod. I is not really lined up the way you want, but it works better than not.

You could turn your battery side ways and throw a 3" pipe in there and make more of a true cold air.

yeah thats right, yours is more in line than the 7.3s. I forgot and I have been doing a little :beer3: You should just be able to fab a piece of pipe. It will be ok if you loose some air, or are you looking for a ram air type setup? Some is always better than none
