Help with Torque Converter.......
Ok, I need a little help.
When I am cruising along the hwy at say 65 to 70mph. If you get off the gas for a second (traffic slowing) and then ease back on to it, the tranny has that initial period of "slip" before it locks back up. If I am not mistaken this is because the TC unlocks for a few seconds as you get back on the gas. Can this be eliminated? Once at cruise I am trying to achieve the same effect as a manual. Fully locked up unless I really slow down requiring a down shift. Is this even possible? Thanks for the help. Last edited by PowerstrokeNC : 03-31-2008 at 06:48 PM. |
