SCT extreme

Getting higher egt temps when i run it harder so thr egt is spiking to around 1400 but then they go down pretty quick any advice would help.

thats normal, more fuel equals more power equals higher exhaust temps

1. have you change to an aftermarket exhaust
2. aftermarket intake?
3. zoodad mod?

Mine would keep on climbing as long as I had my right foot down. I had seen over 1500 a few times.

I put on the Spearco Intercooler and have not had any problems with High/Dangerous EGTs.

Performance: SCT Xcal-Innovative Diesel, 4" Turbo Back Exhaust no muffler and kitty missing, Spearco IC, ID Power Elbow, AFe Stg. II Intake, 03 Turbo.

Looks: Westin Black Powder Coated Bull Bar, Recon Smoked Cab, Mirror Lights, and 3rd Brake Light, 4" Superlift kit, 35" ProComp Extreme A/T's, 18x10 Diamo Black & Chrome Rims.

1400 thats pretty hot, I dont like getting mine over 1200, water/meth injection should bring those temps down

when ya say harder do ya mean when racing or just running from stop light to stoplight??when I run hard mine gets around 1200 when in 6th...

lower gears I hit 1400+ degrees now and then if I punch it to the floor......higher speeds and punching it results in 1000-1200

I would like a water/meth kit and intercooler.....but I would also like headstuds, spare set of tires, new motorcycle, spare set of 24" KMC RockStars, new leather interior, and a hot tub in the bed. It's just money right??? hahaha

2005F250 4x4 CC/SB

-un-important stuff...lifted, 20's, 37's, exhaust, SCT, gauges, AFE, ZooDad, horns, tint, dvd, AV, speakers,...

-IMPORTANT stuff....1yr. old Peyten riding along with me in the back seat and his pregnant mommy in the passenger seat......due May 2010!!!

I have a 4" turbo back exhaust,airaid intake, and no zoodad (yet).

And thats running stop light to stop light.

I was trying to help find a way to lower your EGT's

Some people run an SCT, but don't have those things,...and they wonder what they need to do to lower their EGT's.

Since you already have those mods, the next step to lower EGT's is gonna cost a few bux....like water/meth kits and so on.
