amsoil

what oil weight amsoil shoud i use, i have a f250 psd, and i dont do any towing or hauling.

15w40 is the standard weight oil for the diesels

I've been using the HDD 5W30 Series 3000 with no issues for the last couple of years.

You could also use 5W-40, it'd be of a good benefit for you especially in the colder months.

Yep, according to the manual 5-40 is a good choice ; so long as you drive in temps under 30*F.
Just out of curiosity-why do so many ignore the book?

You can run the synthetic Amsoil DEO 5w40 year round. when choosing oil the number before the w is the cold rating. the second number is the lube rating after warm up so say if they both end in 40 they have the same lube properties when the engine is warmed up
