side pipes
I've been dreaming of doin this for awhile. has anyone ever heard or seen sidepipes on a crewcab. i was thinking of 5" semi stacks about 6' long on their side in place of the steps. my truck is lifted 8" so it should look pretty wild and sound incredible

Sounds like a cool project. Wouldn't be practical for me I would just rip them off on a two track. I have seen them before that way on a regular cab ford gasser.

yes I have seen them. In one of the first publications of the Diesel Mag.,There was a yellow crewcab with them ...I want to do them in old school,Were you can see the welds and in flat black...I think 5" all the way to the tires would look killer....Then maybe some kinda step under each door....

I've seen a few pictures of some psd's with sidepipes, they look really good when done right.

Side pipes is exactly what I want to do on my truck.
I've been working on how to do it for quite a while in my head, just haven't gotten around to doing it on the truck yet. If you do, take pics, I wanna see it!! |

There is a member on here somewhere with a black CC Dually IIRC that has side pipes and the old Cobra paint scheme.
