turbo whistle

I just bought an 04 f250 6.0 and the thing whistles sooooo loud its almost embarrassing. Is there a reason mine whistles louder than anyone I've heard? It has a straight 4 with a 5" tip and no cat. Just put the c.a.i. back on, that he gave me. Now I think it may be louder. I know people want them to whistle but WOW it's loud. Now I just installed extreme street and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also...why do people like them to smoke? I'd rather it not smoke at all but I also live in a populated area too. Is it the people that live more in rural area's.

Smoke is a personal preference... some love it, some hate it. The whistle is because it is probably a early 04 and has the 03 turbo on it...

Plus it's a straighted 4" on a 6.0L and has the CAI. That combo makes for a very loud whistle. And as for smoke, some people like to see the power as well as feel it. I'd like smoke some, but I pi$$ people off enough already with the obnoxious size, noise and potent smell

Yep!!!!!!!! I went to test the extreme street tune and when I stomped it at the light I never noticed the motorcycle behind me till I took off and saw him in a large cloud of smoke. OOPS!

heres a video of mine. I love the whistle. my dad is like your truck is ready for take off. its like a jet. I wouldn't trade that sound for anything
