What do you guys think??

Took my truck in to the dealership for the first oil change...when I got it back there were hand prints all over the hood (from shutting it I guess) and I can't get the hand prints off!!! Its like they had oil or whatever on their hands and looks like it took the clear coat off...I have tried wax and nothing happens...should I complain? do I have a case? When I realized it at the dealership I thought it would just come off in a washing....So I went home and started to wash it. NOTHING HAPPENED!!!

I have a feeling they will just say "we didn't do it, but we can repaint your truck for $50,000"

Thoughts?

I would say to the manager very politely "sir, i am a paying costumer here and my truck is very important to me and when i take it to a certified business i expect premium service and when i come pick it up and there is hand prints and grease marks on my hood that really botheres me. I will let your body shop to attempt to remove it with out messing anything up. but if it doesnt your company is going to have to make it right with me. I would think you would be able to do this. i know it wasnt this way when i brought it in and i expect it to come back to me the way you got it. Thank you sir blahblah"

Play it by ear but thats a start and just be nice and dont be a azz or anything and i bet they will make it right with ya! Keep us informed bud! got any pics of it?

I was given a free oil change coupon when I bought my 6.4 last year. I went by the shop and had them give me the oil and filter and I changed it myself. I've heard too many of these type of stories. A friend of mine took his duramax in for it's first change and they warped the hood and then denied it. The mechanic pulled down on one side of the hood and warped it when he was closing it. Try buffing it out with a light grade of compound before spending money on new clear coat. Of course that's after raising hell with the dealership and Ford Mo Co. Good luck.
